Biddy Baxter

WQE College is saddened to hear of the passing of alum, Biddy Baxter. Biddy Baxter attended Wyggeston Girls’ Grammar School, which is now our Regent Road Campus, from 1944-1951. Biddy was a TV producer, best known for editing Blue Peter from 1965-1988, and was a pioneer of children’s television.

WQE Men’s Basketball Team Success!

The WQE College Men’s Basketball Team made it through to the Team Leicestershire Finals held at the Riders stadium on Wednesday 22nd March. A very confident performance against an experienced Rawlins side saw WQE come out on top with a significant points margin. Well done to all the students involved and to Coach Dave Harris.
