On Wednesday 7th February, WQE College will be joined by three outstanding guest speakers: Travis Frain OBE, Steven Stenier and Nicola Benyahia.
They will be speaking to our college community about their experiences related to violence and extremism, as part of the Leicester Prevent Young Leaders initiative.
In collaboration with Leicester College, the event is designed to develop the confidence of young people in challenging ideas and recognising concerns linked to possible radicalisation.
The talks will be beneficial to all students. However, those studying Sociology, Law, History, Criminology or Psychology may be particularly interested – plus any students looking to pursue a career in the legal, humanitarian or social services industries.
