We know at this time of year, thoughts are turning towards University applications and particularly that all important personal statement. The Careers team, alongside University colleagues, are here to support students to make sure theirs is the best it can be.
We have already run a number of virtual sessions including:
- How to write a statement for nursing, midwifery or teaching and
- Personal statements for Russell group Universities
The week commencing 4th October will see our one to one support begin. We are offering:
- Drop in sessions on a Monday from 1pm – 2 pm at Regent Road and on a Friday from 12.30pm – 2pm at University Road. This is a chance for students to drop in with their personal statement and get one to one feedback on it
- 15 minute bookable virtual appointments with a member of staff from a University every Wednesday between 12.30pm and 2pm
Sessions will run up to the internal UCAS deadline which is 19th November
