Level 3 Vocational Course
Science (Applied) BTEC Level 3 Diploma
Share
Please note: There will be changes to this course for 2026 entry, which we will explain in detail during our Offer Holders Event in March.
The Diploma in Applied Science will no longer be funded. To ensure students still have strong progression opportunities, we are developing an alternative pathway that combines the Extended Certificate in Applied Science with additional qualifications to create a full, balanced programme. Our Curriculum Area Leaders and Executive Leadership Team are working together to design pathways that offer the best possible progression to Higher Education and professional careers.
For now, we encourage students to continue applying for the Diploma in Applied Science. At the Offer Holder Event in March, we will review each student’s provisional programme and agree on a suitable pathway aligned with their future aspirations.
