Student Governor

Term Ends:

My name is Theo Hillier-Drewett and I am studying A level Business, Economics, and Drama and Theatre at WQE. I chose to come to WQE because I was vastly impressed by the broad range and variety of subjects that it has to offer. As well as its convenience to where I live, I enjoy the freedom it brings and being treated like an adult.

I enjoy the opportunities which WQE gives me – being  a member of the Student Executive, being a PREVENT Young Leader and a mental health ambassador, as well as opportunities for work experiences and enrichment programmes which enable me to learn more outside of my A level subjects.

As a Student Governor I am most interested in learning about how to work in a team of Governors and with the Principal, as well as how to make big decisions within the College like how to spend the budget. I am excited to be able to comment on my opinions of the College and to raise issues I think are important.

My hopes for the future are to be able to work more in teams of people as I think this is a valuable skill and asset I will learn and can bring into high value job roles in the future, after university.
