I became an External Governor at WQE because I am passionate about the role that outstanding post-16 education plays in opening opportunities and improving life chances. My professional background is in senior leadership within highly regulated sectors, where I have gained extensive experience in governance, financial stewardship, compliance and strategic planning.

I work closely with the Chair, fellow Governors, and the leadership team to provide constructive challenge and support, ensuring that our decisions are in the best interests of students, staff, and the wider community. I am particularly committed to promoting inclusivity, safeguarding, and strong community engagement, and to ensuring that WQE remains financially sustainable while delivering excellent outcomes.

Alongside my role at the College, I am actively involved in building partnerships between education, business, and the community to create new opportunities for young people to succeed.
