Becoming a Governor at WQE enables me to contribute to a college that plays a significant role in the educational and cultural life of Leicester. Having lived locally for over 15 years and worked extensively across education, I am committed to supporting opportunities that help young people succeed and thrive.

As an Associate Professor, my work focuses on teaching and learning, with particular interests in oracy, digital learning, and the responsible use of AI in education. I bring experience of educational leadership, curriculum development, and evidence-informed decision-making, alongside a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing learners in Leicester today.

I hope as a Governor I will play a vital role in providing strategic oversight, constructive challenge, and support to ensure WQE continues to deliver excellent outcomes for its students and the wider community.
