I am thrilled to have been recently appointed as an External Governor at Wyggeston Queen Elizabeth College and am both excited and grateful for the opportunity to support and contribute to the college’s ongoing success.

Education has always been a personal passion of mine, as I firmly believe in its power to transform lives. It not only opens doors to future opportunities but also builds confidence and self-belief. As a parent of teenagers currently navigating their own educational journeys, I have a strong appreciation for the importance of the post-16 sector and the challenges faced by both students and their care givers.

With over 15 years of experience in adult education, I have worked in a variety of teaching and project management roles across the State Education Sector and a major national learning provider operating in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. I also bring over 14 years of governance experience, having served as both a Local Authority Governor and Parent Governor at two primary schools.

In addition to my work in education, I founded and continue to run a successful residential lettings business, which I have managed for over a decade.
