The Careers team are busy planning FutureWISE, our annual progression day for WQE students, and it’s shaping up to be the best and biggest yet. The event will take place on Wednesday 24 June.
We have over 160 presentations, talks and workshops happening during the day with more than 40 Universities and other organisations attending. Sessions include:
- the UCAS process and how to write a great personal statement
- Apprenticeships (including Degree level opportunities) and employability
- Lots of academic subject taster sessions
- Vocational presentations such as Getting into Teaching
- General sessions e.g. Volunteering
We’re also delighted to be joined by a number of ex-students who will be talking about their career journeys, including two Degree Apprentices, an entrepreneur and an Optometrist.
WQE students will have access to the schedule in advance and can choose which sessions they want to attend. We’re looking forward to a busy and useful event.
