College community commemorate Remembrance Day 2021

WQE staff, students and the Old Wyggestonian Association joined together for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.

The event was held at the college’s memorial site at University Road on the morning of Thursday 11th November.

Remembrance Day is commemorated nationwide each year with a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths, to remember those who lost their lives in conflicts.

Five men stand beside a war memorial with poppy wreaths, dressed formally, outdoors.
