Supporting students’ next steps – two major careers events at WQE

As part of National Careers Week, WQE is delighted to announce more details about our careers events this March and April 2026. These events are designed to help students make informed, confident decisions about their future.

WQE University Exhibition – Tuesday 24 March 2026

We are welcoming over 75 universities from across the UK to campus, giving students a valuable opportunity to explore their Higher Education options in one place.

Students can speak directly with University representatives about:

  • Entry requirements
  • Course options
  • The UCAS application process
  • Career pathways linked to different degrees
  • Student life and support

For many students, these conversations provide clarity and reassurance at a crucial decision-making stage.

Please note that this event is taking place during the college day, therefore is only accessible to students.

WQE Careers Fair – Thursday 23 April 2026, 6:00-8:00pm

With over 55 employers attending from sectors including Accounting, Business, Construction, Creative Industries, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare, Law, Science,  Technology, Teaching and more this is an excellent opportunity for students to explore the full range of pathways available after WQE.

Students will be able to:

  • Learn about Higher and Degree Apprenticeships
  • Explore career pathways across different sectors
  • Gain insight into what employers look for
  • Ask questions directly to industry professionals

Parents are welcome to attend the Careers Fair. Your involvement can help support meaningful conversations and informed decisions about future pathways.

These events offer a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their ambitions, ask questions and gain real-world insight — all in one place.
