National Apprenticeship Week runs from Monday 8 – Sunday 14 February 2021 and we’re really pleased to be celebrating it at WQE.  Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to gain qualifications while working and earning and there are some amazing opportunities out there, including Higher and Degree Level opportunities.

We’re really pleased to welcome Rob Turnell from the Leicester Employment Hub who is running a virtual Microsoft Teams chat for students on Friday 12 February at 11 am. Join us and ask Rob all your Apprenticeship related questions.

In addition:

  • there will be lots of resources, presentations and virtual events in the Careers section of WQE Online.
  • your weekly updates will focus on all things Apprenticeships.

To book a place at the live chat, if you have any questions or would like further information email us on careers@wqe.ac.uk.

Did you also know, volunteering is a fantastic way to gain skills and experience and can really help an Apprenticeship application stand out?  This week is also Student Volunteering Week and Voluntary Action Leicester have all the information you need about volunteering including how to find a placement.  Check out their website at https://valonline.org.uk/volunteering.
