Summer 2021 Results

Results for Advanced Level courses

These will be available on Tuesday 10th August. Results will be distributed to your WQE college e-mail address on the day of release from 8.30am. You should therefore check that you know the relevant password information for your accounts, check you can access emails and keep this information safely on hand in readiness. The results will come as a PDF which will allow you to print out a copy if you need one. For those of you also waiting for GCSE results these will be released on Thursday 12 August.

Support and advice following Advanced Level results

This will be available on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th by appointment, in person or over phone or MS Teams. To book an appointment please call reception after 9am on 0116 247 1147 they will then book a time slot for you to talk to a member of staff.

Results for Level 2, Level 1 and Entry Level Courses

Support and advice following Level 2, Level 1 and Entry Level results

From Monday 16th August PPMs will be back at work and are the best people to contact for initial support and advice. This can be followed up as part of the enrolment process if you have applied to continue at WQE or by the Careers team if you are looking to progress elsewhere. Please contact your PPM by email giving an up to date phone number so that they can get back to you from Monday 16 August.

Assessment evidence grades

If you wish to view the grades for the pieces of evidence that were used by the College as the basis for the TAG in a particular subject these are available via the markbook section of ProPortal from 10th August for Advanced Level courses and 12th August for all other courses once results have been released.

Please note that there is a separate email address to deal with exam appeals that is detailed in the FAQs.

Autumn Exams

There may be some of you who having considered the various options wish to enter for the exams that will take place in the Autumn. AS and A-level examinations start on Monday 4 October and finish on Friday 22nd October. GCSE examinations start on Monday 15th November and finish on Thursday 2nd December.

For BTEC and Cambridge Technical courses there will be the option to take external units in January 2022. The exact details of how this will relate to the Q-TAGs awarded in summer 2021 is not expected to be provided by the exam boards until during the Autumn Term.

If you are considering sitting exams in the Autumn please email exams@wqe.ac.uk to register your intent, by Friday 20th August. Please note that you can only sit qualifications that you were entered for this year. The exams team will then contact you when we have further information.
