The Ofqual consultation relating to exams which should have taken place in Summer 2021, and which contains proposals relating to private candidates, i.e. students who are not enrolled onto a programme at the College, closed on 29 January 2021. The College is hoping that it will know the outcome of the consultation, and how it affects our ex-students by the end of February.
The advice from the exam boards is for the College to make its entries for the summer exam season by the deadlines already set, which is mid-February, and which may well be before the outcome of the consultation is published.
With this in mind, if you received a Centre Assessed Grade in Summer 2020, or if you had been entered to re-take exams in Summer 2020, which you were later withdrawn from, you can now purchase your AS and A-level Summer 2021 re-takes using your WisePay account. Please note that the College does not provide the opportunity to private candidates to resubmit their coursework for any specifications and will only make a ‘carry forward’ entry.
