Due to the ongoing Covid safety restrictions, the LRC has developed a Click & Collect service so that students can still borrow and return resources safely from the centres at University Road and Regent Road.
Only pick up and drop off of resources is allowed within the LRC libraries.

How do I order books?
You will receive an email with a four-digit library pin number. Go to the LRC link on WQE Online to access the Library Catalogue.
Using your Student ID Number and your PIN Number to log into the Library Catalogue, this will allow you to access your own account where you can view your current loans, ‘Request’ new loans and ‘Renew’ existing loans if they are not required by another borrower.
Search the Library Catalogue to find a book that you would like to borrow. On the search result page click on the book you are interested in to find out further details, then to borrow it click the ‘Request’ button and this will take you to a page where you can email the LRC to request the chosen book.
How many books can I order and how long may I keep them?
You will be able to borrow a maximum of 4 books for up to a month, the date the book is due to be returned will be stamped on the inside of the front cover of the book.
Books may be renewed but may be recalled if they are required by another borrower.
Where do I return books?
You may return all books, on or before their due date, by dropping them off using the ‘Returns Trolley’ at the LRC on RR site or the ‘Book Drop’ boxes in the front foyer entrance of the UR LRC.
How and when can I collect books?
Click & Collect Requests may take a few days to process from receipt of your order. It will be necessary to quarantine books after they have been returned to ensure that they are safe to loan.
The LRC will email you an ‘Order Confirmation’ to tell you where to collect the book. Books will be made available conveniently and hygienically sealed in a paper bag which will have your name and student ID number attached.
How long are books kept for after I have had my ‘Order Confirmation’ email?
Books will be kept available for collection for 7 days. If you have difficulty collecting the order you should contact the LRC to request an extension.
If I cannot find the books that I am looking for using the Catalogue, what can I do?
